Penang will host the Malaysia Open Beach Volleyball Championship 2021 with the event set from 9th to 12th December 2021, for men and women categories!

This prestigious tournament is organized by NBL International Sdn Bhd with the support from the State Government of Penang. Sanctioned by Malaysia Volleyball Association (MAVA) and Penang Volleyball Association (PVA), the tournament will take place at Public Beach in front of Hard Rock Hotel Batu Ferringhi, Pulau Pinang.

This double-gender Malaysia Open Beach Volleyball Championship 2021 features as part of Malaysia selection trial for the upcoming 31st SEA Games which will be held in Hanoi, Vietnam in May 2022. We are expecting 20 elite Men’s team and 10 Women’s team to participate in this edition of tournament in Penang.

The battle of the gold medals will take place on 12th December (Sunday). A win at these National men’s and women’s tour is considered by athletes to be amongst the highest accolades in beach volleyball competitions. In addition to valuable ranking points, competitors in this edition can look forward to a share of the RM2,300 per gender as a total tournament prize. Admission to the event is FREE.
